About
-
Dr. Reginald Tall is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. Specializing in surgery of the spine, for 30 years Dr. Tall has expertly guided patients through strategies for dealing with back problems, including conservative nonsurgical and surgical options.
Dr. Tall believes the decision to proceed with back surgery should come only after trying nonsurgical options such as stretching and strengthening daily, remaining physically active, taking over-the-counter pain relievers as needed, applying ice and heat, and waiting to see if the pain improves with time.
Dr. Tall earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke’s University Hospital. He also completed a spine fellowship at the Minnesota Spine Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Tall received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
In addition to his certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Tall is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Scoliosis Research Association.
