Todd Vitaz, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in tumors of the brain, skull base and spine. Dr. Vitaz serves as director, neurosurgical oncology, Spectrum Health Medical Group. After earning his medical degree and completing his general surgery internship at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Vitaz completed his neurological surgery residency at University of Louisville. He completed a neurosurgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Vitaz comes to Spectrum Health from the Norton Neuroscience Institute in Louisville where he served as director, neurosurgical oncology, and co-director, Brain Tumor Center.
