About

Dr. Cyril T. Sebastian, MD, is a board-certified neurological surgeon and fellowship-trained spinal cord surgery subspecialist. He has been practicing for more than a decade since completing 12 years of intensive medical education and has the most experience of any spine surgeon in southern Montgomery and northern Harris county.

Dr. Sebastian completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard before attending Tufts Medical School for his Doctorate of Medicine. After graduating, he began an intense seven year residency in neurosurgery at Kansas University Medical Center. Before specializing in spinal surgery, Dr. Sebastian served in the United States Navy for many years as a neurological surgeon.

During his time in the U.S. Navy, he served as the Department Head of Neurosurgery at the US Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan and later as a Staff Neurosurgeon and Assistant Professor in Surgery of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

After his service, Dr. Sebastian applied to, and was accepted to, Stanford University’s School of Medicine’s elite Spine Surgery Fellowship. He has been practicing neurological surgery since 2001, and has been practicing in Texas specifically since 2010 when he founded Evergreen Spine & Neurosurgery Center.

Born in India, Dr. Sebastian moved to Massachusetts when he was very young. He grew up in Massachusetts, and has since lived in Kansas, California, Florida and Japan.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Sebastian loves spending time with his wife and children at their home in The Woodlands.
