Dr. Pignetti was born and raised on Long Island, NY. After completing his undergraduate studies at Adelphi University, he earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens prior to moving to The Woodlands, TX in 1993.
He is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Pignetti is also an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He has participated in research, co-authored published articles and trained hundreds of surgeons on endoscopic surgical treatments for heel pain and neuromas. He is highly experienced in Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction and was the first surgeon in The Woodlands to perform this revolutionary procedure.
Dr. Pignetti has been practicing in The Woodlands since 1993, where he has provided advanced, gentle, and effective techniques to relieve foot and ankle problems. He believes education is the key to successful outcomes and takes care to ensure that patients understand their recommended treatment plan. He particularly enjoys treating pediatric patients, from young children through teens.
