Barry Kaplan, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with the Orlando Health Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Institute Neurosurgery Group.
Dr. Kaplan completed both his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He went on to complete a general surgery internship and a neurological surgery residency, also at the University of Florida.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Kaplan founded and served as the president of Ocala Neurosurgical Center. He has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including theJournal of Neurosurgery and Surgical Neurology International. He is a member of the Florida Neurosurgical Society and the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons.
