About
- Dr. Daniels was born in Joliet, Illinois in 1960. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at Northern Illinois University and graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency in 1991, he began his career as assistant professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. For ten years, Dr. Daniels was responsible for heading the orthopedic surgery residency program and teaching of medical students at the university. During that time he built a successful orthopedic clinical practice. Still an assistant professor at the university, Dr. Daniels now is in private practice where he places emphasis on direct patient care. Today he utilizes his nearly twenty years of orthopedic surgical experience with the most innovative non-surgical and surgical techniques to personalize treatment with the patient population. Dr. Daniels special interests include advanced arthroscopic treatment of the athlete to cartilage transplants in the active individual. Minimally invasive reconstructive surgery is used for the less active patient population. Dr. Daniels maintains his philosophy to tailor the orthopedic treatment to the patient with the most conservative, non-surgical modalities prior to surgical intervention, in order to get the individual to return to normal function as soon as possible. Dr. Daniels currently resides in Aledo, Texas. His hobbies include sporting activities with his four children and physical fitness.
