Brandon Mines, MD, is a sports medicine physician with extensive experience helping athletes of all levels return to the top of their game.
Currently, he is the head team physician for the WNBA Atlanta Dream and a team physician for the NBA Atlanta Hawks. Dr. Mines also serves as Head Team Medical Physician for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and is the primary sports medicine and concussion specialist for the team. He also works with collegiate athletes as the medical director for Clark Atlanta University.
Dr. Mines is board certified in both family practice and sports medicine. He has focused his clinical interest on sports injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, knee, foot and ankle, as well as concussion injuries. Dr. Mines enjoys giving talks and lectures regarding the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. In fact, as an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Society for Sports Medicine, Dr. Mines has attended and presented at various national conferences.
