Dr. Theodore Knatt is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of total joint replacement, carpal tunnel release, orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.
Dr. Knatt earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux before moving to UL Lafayette for postgraduate studies. He attained a medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and later finalized orthopedic surgery training at LSU New Orleans and interventional pain management certification from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. Dr. Knatt completed an internship at Charity Hospital at LSU New Orleans and a residency with LSU Orthopedics. In 2000, the Louisiana Medical Association named him the “Best Physician in the State of Louisiana.”
