About
- Dr. Farber attended Stanford University for his undergraduate education; he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. His medical education was completed at the University of California at Irvine where he was honored with induction into the Alpha Omega honor society. He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the world famous Johns Hopkins Hospital where he served as an administrative chief resident and was awarded the resident research award. He subsequently completed an extra year of fellowship training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. During his fellowship, he served as assistant team physician for the athletic department at Loyola Marymount University, and associate team physician for Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks and part of the medical staff for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los AngelesGalaxy, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los AngelesAvengers and USC Football. During his fellowship, he received the Kerlan-Jobe Basic Science ResearchAward for his research on rotator interval closure techniques.
