Renie Daniel grew up in New Jersey and has always enjoyed caring for children. It was this passion, which led her to pursue a career in pediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery.
Daniel received her medical degree from New York Medical College and graduated as valedictorian from Temple University School of Dentistry. Her surgical training includes residency training in oral and maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center-Seton Hall University in Paterson, New Jersey as well as a one-year internship in General Surgery and one-year fellowship in pediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery both at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
Daniel is board certified. In addition to patient care, Daniel enjoys a teaching position as a clinical assistant professor with the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
Daniel routinely travels abroad for surgical mission trips to serve cleft children around the world and internationally credentialed as a cleft and craniofacial surgeon with the distinguished volunteer organization Operation Smile.
