Dr. Nikita Bezrukov is a Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over a decade of experience in Joint and Sports reconstructive surgery. He completed his medical training at the top nationally ranked Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and went on to stay to complete orthopedic surgery residency at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. He chose to specialize in joints and sports reconstruction and completed two separate fellowships, one in Sports Medicine at the Kaiser Permanente Orange County of Southern California and a second one in Joint Reconstructive Surgery at the UCSD Medical Center.
Dr. Bezrukov specializes in primary joint replacement surgery as well as complex revision surgery as well as sports medicine. His specialty is Robotic Knee replacement and anterior hip replacement surgery that provides a minimally invasive and enhanced recovery. Trained in advanced and minimally invasive rotator cuff repair techniques, ACL/PCL ligament reconstruction and meniscal injuries, he is able to provide comprehensive operative and non-operative solutions for shoulder, hip and knee problems. He complements his surgical practice with advanced biological non-operative treatment for hip and knee pain such as PRP and stem cell injection therapy.
His credo is to approach each patient with attention to detail, and map out a safe and effective plan of treatment with a quick recovery and return to work and daily activities. He has practiced on the island of Maui early in his career but returned to California for the second fellowship. He enjoys tennis, basketball, mountain biking, skiing, and golf.
